Lapis Lazuli as nice as this piece is hard to come by, especially in this size. There is a thin coating of Calcite on one edge and the opposite tip of this rock, otherwise this is AA to AAA grade Deep Blue Lapis in a great size and shape for carving or slabbing. This piece weighs 3 3/4 pounds, and measures 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches, tapering slightly to about 1 1/2 on the opposite end.
